Our mission is to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and reliability on every project, combining technical expertise with hands-on experience.Position SummaryThe Technician I plays a key role in our upfitting and installation operations. This position involves performing mechanical, electrical, and fabrication work on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a broad range of automotive upfitting, maintenance, and testing tasks.Mount and balance wheels and tires; perform alignments when required.Install suspension systems including IFS, lift kits, and straight axle suspensions.Read and interpret technical instructions, system reports, and quality standards.Follow torque specifications and verify torque with proper marking methods.Keep work areas clean and organized (COP: Clean up, Organize, Put away).Use PPE at all times (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).Maintain accurate work records using company systems.Assist with pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles when needed.Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.Participate in ongoing technical and professional development.Qualifications1+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, or upfitting.Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.Familiarity with shop tools, diagnostic systems, and mechanical procedures.Welding experience preferred but not required.ASE certification is a plus.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (kneeling, reaching, bending).Must supply personal hand tools and a mobile tool box.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Why Join Bullet UpfittersCompetitive hourly pay and growth potential.Supportive team culture with hands-on leadership.Exposure to high-quality builds and innovative products.Opportunities for continued education and advancement.Apply today to join a team that takes pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality service.
