Overview Description and duties for the position focused on installing, repairing, and maintaining heating equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities Overhauls heating equipment by disassembling heaters, diagnosing trouble, and replacing or repairing worn and faulty parts such as burners, baffles, pilots, governors, floats, strainers, oil pumps, and thermocouples.
Reassembles, installs, and functionally tests heating equipment; calibrates and makes any required adjustments.
Works from blueprints, sketches, manufacturers’ specifications, manuals, verbal instructions, and other authorized data.
Works at various heights.
Meets minimum job skills requirements to qualify for and hold the classification.
Demonstrates knowledge or has completed training in job skills including: Blueprint Reading; Industrial HVAC/R servicing.
Basic Qualifications EPA Universal Refrigerant License (608)
4 years of HVAC/R experience (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration) or equivalent education/experience
Desired Skills Computer Skills
Siemens BMCS Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R repair, troubleshooting, and controls
Commercial refrigeration knowledge

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules; schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules with additional time off. These schedules complement Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 with every other Friday off
Compensation and Benefits The base range for this position in California is $30.51 - $51.98. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary are general guidelines and governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
