Overview
Senior Software Integration Engineer role for a medical technology company in Massachusetts. The role is to design, develop, and deploy custom integration solutions that optimize data flow and operational efficiency within medical software environments. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure seamless system communication between hospital systems and cloud-based medical applications. Key Responsibilities
Develop EMR integrations using
Mirth ,
.NET Framework (C#) , and
Azure Cloud
services for medical product ecosystems. Design and implement integration solutions to connect hospital systems, applications, and platforms with cloud-based medical applications. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gather, analyse, and translate system requirements into robust technical solutions. Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure compatibility, stability, and high performance across systems. Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to achieve successful integrations and maintain interoperability. Document integration processes, prepare technical materials, and train users on system interactions. Provide expert-level technical support and guidance for integration-related issues to customer IT teams and stakeholders. Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Computer Science ,
Information Technology , or related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. Minimum
5 years of experience
in integration and software development. Proven track record in
EMR integration
projects, ideally within
medical or healthcare environments
and customer-facing roles. Strong experience with
.NET (C#) ,
Azure Cloud services , and integration platforms such as
Mirth ,
n8n ,
TIBCO ,
Informatica ,
MuleSoft , or
WSO2 . Familiarity with
DevOps tools ,
agile methodologies , and modern software deployment practices. Experience working with clients or end users in a healthcare or medical technology context. Additional Information
