Base pay range $75.00/hr - $85.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Apex Systems We are seeking a seasoned Mulesoft Integration Architect / SME with deep hands-on development experience and strategic integration expertise. This role requires a strong technical leader who can architect, design, and guide complex integration solutions—primarily between Salesforce and SAP. This role is hybrid and requires 2-3 days a week in the office in Atlanta, GA. The W2 hourly rate for this role is between $75-85/hr. W2

Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead the design of scalable integration solutions using Mulesoft Platform.

Provide hands-on development and mentorship to integration teams, ensuring best practices and code quality.

Serve as the SME for Mulesoft, guiding integration strategy, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing performance.

Lead integration efforts between Salesforce and SAP, which comprise 70% of the integration workload.

Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business goals.

Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across integration layers.

Contribute to infrastructure planning, including firewall and network architecture considerations (nice to have).

Required Qualifications

5–6 years of hands-on Mulesoft development experience, with advanced proficiency in API-led connectivity, DataWeave, RAML, and connectors.

8–10 years of enterprise integration experience, including architecture, design, and implementation.

Proven experience integrating Salesforce and SAP systems.

Strong understanding of integration patterns, error handling, and performance tuning.

Ability to lead technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design sessions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Mulesoft Architect or Developer certification.

Experience with firewall network infrastructure services or security architecture.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud integration environments.
