We are looking for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer to lead the innovative engineering design and development for state-of-the-art air-cooled and liquid-cooled electronic cooling products. This role requires a senior-level contributor capable of guiding products design from concept to production and providing technical support to production teams in North America. This individual will work closely with thermal engineers to recommend designs for customers’ cooling needs on die, packaged chips, tray-level, and rack-level thermal management. The candidates will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to propose functional designs, while ensuring manufacturability, production efficiency, and product reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout fluid components and structural hardware, sensors, and actuators. Specify and size components including quick disconnects, pipe fittings, manifolds, pumps, heat exchangers, and valves. Develop CAD models, provide engineering drawings for manufacture, and apply GD&T principles. Assure thermal systems meet requirements while optimizing energy efficiency, cost, weight, manufacturability, and serviceability. Prototype designs, establish test methods, and analyze performance data. Identify and resolve thermal system issues effectively. This position requires proactive project management to drive the design to completion through collaboration and coordination. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related fields with 7+ years of hands-on experience owning thermal-fluid system design in electronic cooling or HVAC industries OR Master’s degree in the thermal fluid dynamics fields with 5+ years of industrial experiences. Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or equivalent) Strong mechanical design background. Capable of applying analytical processes on real-world hardware problems and using in-house processes or commercial software to assist design. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including but not limited to stamping, brazing, welding, die casting and forging, and their application and limitations preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering fundamentals to complex thermal challenges. Excellent documentation and communication skills Familiar with pipe fitting specifications and its typical applications, such as Quick Disconnects, NPT, BSPP, UNF/O-ring boss, AN/JIS, etc. is a plus Knowledge of current data center cooling system standards and environmental regulations is a plus Seniority level:
