Supplier Quality Engineer
Department:
Operations (OXO and Hydro Flask)
Work Location:
New York, NY
Hybrid Schedule:
In‑office collaboration Tue‑Thu with optional remote Mon & Fri. Schedule may change with business needs.
What You Will Be Doing
Participate in product development teams to ensure product quality.
Collaborate with design engineering on product test plans.
Build and maintain product inspection plans delivered to the Quality team prior to pilot.
Train inspection team for new product quality requirements prior to launch.
Review and approve new product quality prior to release.
Proactively monitor product quality and respond to changes.
Collect and analyze product quality data through inspection results, warranty claims, and product reviews.
Establish production product testing cycle to supervise tooling life and audit production quality control.
Root cause quality issues, contain exposure, and implement corrective actions.
Drive product quality improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Collaborate with in‑country support services to ensure product quality before shipping and advance vendor quality.
Evolve quality inspection processes as supply chain evolves.
Monitor vendor quality metrics and work with vendors to enhance quality throughout production.
Improve vendor quality metrics and inspection pass rates.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering.
3+ years of experience in product quality management.
Background in solving product/manufacturing defects and implementing corrective action.
Authorised to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with metals, plastics or soft‑goods manufacturing.
Experience communicating with a global vendor network.
Benefits Salary + Bonus.
