Job Description
Design and develop online course elements in the Canvas Learning management system
Apply instructional design best practices and principles to ensure instructional materials align with learning objectives and meet the needs of diverse learners
Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience
Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving instructional design processes within the office
Review and remediate content for accessibility
Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System. Other software used: H5P, Articulate Rise, Monday.com, Slack, Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, and some awareness of and experience with generative AI software (ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Claude, etc.).
Up to 20 hours/week (flexible based on weekly workload)
Must be available for in-person event support
Expected Salary $15 per hour
Required Qualifications High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with instructors and teams (video, design)
Demonstrate openness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and understand individuals' differences
