Role : Director of Risk Management – Hospital / Healthcare Location : Las Vegas, Nevada Type : FTE/Permanent The Director of Risk Management is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of various patient safety and risk management activities. Responsibilities
Performance and oversight of the claim management functions including investigation and analysis. Performance of risk assessments including new services, and performance of root cause analysis for the system with action plan tracking and facilitation. Management of the Patient Safety Council with incorporation of the corporate TERM program into the overall risk management program. Collaborate with department directors and the executive team to implement corporate and facility risk reduction strategies. Provide expertise to regulatory and compliance standards and processes. Engage in data analysis, reporting, education, leadership, and accountable execution of related activities. Skills And Certifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (required). Two (2) to five (5) years of Risk Management experience; acute care experience preferred. Experience in risk leadership within a hospital setting. Seniority level
