This role serves as lead Quality Engineer on Karman projects throughout design, development, testing, qualification, and production. Supports the Director of Quality in QMS management. Reports to the Director of Quality.
Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr.

What You Will Do Determines and executes quality plan for Karman projects through development and production. Implements new quality inspection methodologies as required. Supports customer design review activities. Performs in process inspections during fabrication and assembly, including AS9102 First Articles. Prepares Technical Data Packages (TDPs) documenting hardware deliverables. Reviews Purchase Orders for accuracy, including proper contractual, project and quality flow downs. Generates and resolves Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR). Leads failure investigations. Performs supply chain risk analysis.
What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 2-5 years’ experience aerospace systems Quality Engineering In depth understanding of the testing, inspection, quality issues and certification of aircraft, including all systems and particularly those associated with composite aero structures Expert knowledge of GD&T and Statistical Process Control implementation. Expert knowledge of AS9100 QMS. Experience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems including CMM and NDT methods, reporting methodologies and MRB processes Must be a U.S. Citizen Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
