Position Ignite Digital has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer/Scientist 4 in Charleston, SC to support our client engagements within the federal government. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong working knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps C4ISR systems and a strong work ethic. This role supports a DevSecOps development program and produces fielded system improvements.
Responsibilities
Provide system/equipment support to Navy and Marine Corps C4ISR systems.
Provide Test and Evaluation support to validate systems/equipment meet minimum C4ISR requirements.
Assist on the assembly and repackaging of C4ISR systems/equipment to support operational requirements.
Document test results, along with supporting information and recommendations for corrective measures.
Provide network engineering support, as required.
Required Required: DOD secret level clearance eligible
Desired Skills
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Computer Science, Information Systems
Ten (10) years of experience with C4ISR projects in support of DoD efforts, including Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements
Five (5) years of Marine Corps/Navy/DoD network infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, or cloud transition, and cyber security
Desired Certifications
Security+ certification
Salary Salary Range: $115,000+ depending on education and experience
