Job Description The Staff Accountant will support the Finance & Accounting team by performing essential accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records, and helping guide the team through ongoing growth and acquisitions. This role will oversee daily bookkeeping functions—including both receivables and payables—assist with monthly and annual close processes, and contribute to budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, resolving discrepancies quickly.

Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes, meeting all deadlines.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Participate in audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards.

Contribute to special projects related to acquisitions and departmental growth.

Essential Skills

2+ years experience in full‑cycle accounting.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite accounting software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with general ledger, reconciliation, month‑end processes, and journal entries.

Familiarity with audit, reporting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year. Benefits include:
