Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their on-site team in Corona, California. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about financial operations and interested in supporting robust manufacturing processes. You will contribute directly to the accuracy and efficiency of the company\'s financial transactions, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork are valued. Responsibilities:
Process and review invoices for accuracy, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and company policies. Execute 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents. Maintain accurate records of all payables transactions and ensure proper documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing necessary AP documentation and reports. Assist in cost and inventory-related finance activities as required. Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to optimize AP workflows. Ensure compliance with internal controls and manufacturing industry standards. Must-Have Skills:
1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in 3-way invoice matching and PO reconciliation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory and costing concepts relevant to AP. Ability to effectively manage multiple workflows and prioritize tasks. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with AP automation or ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite). Knowledge of advanced Excel functions for reporting and reconciliation. Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles. Excellent communication skills for vendor and cross-functional collaboration.
