Inventory Analyst
This role is offered by Insight Global and is based in
Atlanta, GA . Responsibilities include maintaining customer service levels (fill rates), efficiently using inventory assets, and communicating with branches and vendors as part of the company’s procurement and inventory functions.
Base Pay Range $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Must Haves
2+ years of purchasing/inventory planning experience (some of this experience needs to be with a large company)
Experience fully managing and running their own category of products
SQL experience – ability to run and adjust queries
Strong Excel knowledge – pivot tables, vlookups, xlookups and percent changes (will have to take an Excel test)

Day to Day Responsibilities
Creating purchase orders to facilitate the timely replenishment of Distribution Centers
Communicating with both assigned vendors and/or company branches to ensure smooth flow of information and goods
Maintaining agreed upon service levels (fill rates) to our customers
Meeting or exceeding inventory turn goals
Monitoring vendor performance (fill rate and on-time delivery) and taking corrective action where necessary
Coordinating returns to the vendors for damaged and discontinued merchandise
Monitoring inventory at all assigned locations and recommending transfers as appropriate to eliminate “overstock”
Reviewing missed demand and adjusting inventory to capture future sales
Other duties as assigned
