As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality and cost-effective care to our patients. Responsibilities

We are seeking a

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

to: Practice alongside other Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and NICU Hospitalists to provide services at our two recently expanded locations: UnityPoint Health-Meriter, a 42-bed Level III NICU, and American Family Children\'s Hospital, a 26-bed Level IV NICU. Attend high risk deliveries and provide medical management as a member of our multi-disciplinary group. Provide transport for babies with our Medflight Peds/Neo Team with flying strongly encouraged Perform routine clinical procedures independently including providing resuscitation and stabilization of newborn, endotracheal tube placement/intubation, PICC line insertion, umbilical catheter insertion (arterial/venous), peripheral arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion and removal, thoracentesis, lumber puncture, double or partial volume exchange transfusion and neonatal transport. Education

Minimum - Master\'s or Doctorate\'s degree from accredited Nursing Program. Work Experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of relevant NICU experience. Licenses and Certifications

Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP Nurse Practitioner*: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. All Nurse Practitioner applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. *Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
