Description
This manager‑level position is responsible for creating commercially viable product designs for high‑volume categories/collections, focused on core business and trend capsules. You will present and deliver brand‑right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy encompassing style, color/print, fit, and fabric for new/existing product lines. You will research and interpret fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand. Managing under minimal supervision, you will report to the Design Director and lead a mid‑size team of Associate designers.
Your Impact
Develop seasonal products with meticulous focus on style, fit, and fabric.
Adapt designs based on feedback and deliver finalisations.
Implement processes to understand and anticipate customer needs to exceed expectations.
Deliver product designs with flawless execution, achieving goals with speed, agility, and acute attention to detail.
Identify and recommend resources for new ideas, conducting ongoing competitor research and trend analysis.
Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and Product Development throughout the design process.
Present designs to internal leaders, team, and key cross‑functional partners.
Execute design sketches/prototypes and provide specifications.
Anticipate and resolve potential issues, ensuring follow‑up with cross‑functional teams to track progress.
Manage, inspire, and develop junior design talent.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across functions.
Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and speed in delivery.
Ensure deliverables meet budget and time commitments without compromising design excellence.
Salary
Minimum Salary: $127,500.00
Maximum Salary: $174,090.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including your specific skills and experience, geographic region, and other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Experience with woven tops, bottoms, jackets, denim preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create original design sketches and successful product lines.
Customer‑service philosophy.
Collaborative partner with a team‑oriented approach.
Highly motivated, passionate, and results‑oriented.
Solid communication and presentation skills.
Understanding of how to motivate and develop talent.
Champion for change, able to react with speed and agility.

Moderate domestic and minimal international travel.
Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
7+ years of design experience in a comparable retail environment.
Microsoft Office proficiency & Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong presentation skills.
