Job Summary and Responsibilities Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in the Tacoma Metro Area

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established Nephrology group. This full-time position provides patient care at Greater Tacoma area dialysis units, including Davita, Fresenius, and Northwest Kidney Center.

Key responsibilities include:

Clinical management of patients

Patient education

Follow-up care

Interpretation of diagnostics

Medication management

Responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues.

All patient care locations utilize a full electronic health record system (EPIC and dialysis unit EMRs). We invite you to bring your skills and compassion to this role, contributing to a healthier future for all in our community.

Compensation range of $128,750 - $164,300 is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Current Washington State ARNP license

Candidates must have 1+ year of post training experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Nephrology related experience is preferred.

Prior experience with EPIC a plus

Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, dialysis unit staff, patients and their families

Excellent communication skills and professionalism

Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
