Compliance & Reporting Officer at Central Florida Community Action Agency Compensation
Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr This range is provided by Central Florida Community Action Agency. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in HR leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience with demonstrated management experience. Experience with payroll, health and wellness benefit management, and employee relations. Human Resource certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred. Experience working with nonprofit organization preferred. Experience working in a professional office environment. Key responsibilities
Oversees and administers employee health and wellness benefits and retirement plans to include reviewing plan for changes and updates annually. Manages payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement. Maintains and oversees agency liability insurance policies. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment law including FLSA, ADA, OSHA and EEOC. Monitors existing and new legislation and ensures adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Works in coordination with agency management to appropriately handle employee relations issues. Oversees onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
