Business Central Process and Reporting Specialist Description Our client in the medical device manufacturing industry is looking for a Business Central Process and Reporting Specialist to join their team in Lancaster, PA or Rochester, NY. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supporting and enhancing the system across all departments. You will work closely with end‑users, leadership, and external partners to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, document workflows, and create meaningful reports and dashboards. Your first 90 days will focus on learning the organization’s functions, followed by deeper involvement in system optimization, user training, and documentation.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Business Central implementations and support. To succeed, you must be proactive, highly collaborative, and able to translate technical knowledge into clear training and documentation for a variety of business users. Responsibilities
Support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Troubleshoot system issues and implement long‑term solutions
Document system processes, requirements, and integrations
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI or similar tools
Provide internal training to Business Central users across departments
Collaborate with vendors and consultants on system improvements
Validate data accuracy and perform system audits as needed
Stay current on Business Central features and apply relevant updates
Work cross‑functionally with end users in manufacturing and operations
Qualifications
2+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience required
Manufacturing industry experience required
Business Central support & reporting development experience required
Experience with warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or sales modules required
Documentation and user training experience required
