Job Summary We’re looking for a detail-oriented Business Process Analyst II to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across our organization. The role turns complex workflows into clear process documentation (BPMN), analyzes performance data to uncover optimization opportunities, and supports automation initiatives that make teams work smarter. You’ll manage process and document metadata, coordinate across departments, and ensure business processes align with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

Process Documentation: Create and maintain draft process documentation, including BPMN process flow diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions, ensuring alignment with APQC PCF and ISO 9001 standards.

Meeting Support: Attend cross‑functional meetings, take detailed notes, and convert meeting content into draft process documentation and BPMN diagrams.

Process Analysis: Analyze process performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency across all divisions.

Automation Support: Collaborate with IT/IS teams to identify opportunities for process automation and ensure compatibility with existing systems (e.g., SAP, Business Central).

Document Management: Work with QA to maintain documentation in SharePoint, ensuring accurate metadata, version control, and publication in the Controlled BPM Library.

Training Support: Assist in developing training materials and facilitating sessions to support adoption of updated processes.

Performance Monitoring: Support the development of KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness and contribute to performance reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Business Analytics, IT, Project Management, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in business process analysis or related mid‑level roles.

Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 and process mapping, preferably in engineering or ETO manufacturing environments.

Experience with cross‑functional collaboration and process improvement initiatives.

Proficiency in BPMN and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).

Familiarity with SharePoint for document management and metadata maintenance.

Basic understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Business Central) and analytics tools (Excel, Power BI).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; excellent note‑taking and communication abilities.

Ability to work independently with a proactive, results‑oriented approach in a hybrid work environment.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process‑improvement methodologies is a plus.

Relevant certifications (e.g., BPMN, PBA, Lean Six Sigma) and experience in ETO manufacturing or related industries are advantageous.

Exposure to automation tools or software integration in a business‑process context.

Experience coordinating with QA departments for document control and publishing processes.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit at a workstation using computer and phone.

Regular visual requirements: close and distance vision.

Ability to move around the facility; occasionally lift or move up to 40 lbs.

Salary Range: $50,800 – $83,800
