Senior Analyst, Multi-Asset Indices About The Role The Multi-Asset Indices Product Management team at S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Senior Analyst to support its initiatives in the US and globally. The role is an exciting opportunity to be a product manager providing clients with indexing solutions in emerging areas of insurance, options overlay, and multi‑asset investment universes. This multi‑faceted role owns the product development and maintenance process as well as the financial health of the product line.

Team The team focuses on strategies for index‑linked insurance products, derivatives overlay strategies, retirement, and other multi‑asset retirement strategies. It has a global mandate for setting product strategy and driving long–term success of the product line.

Role In this role, you will support and promote our multi‑asset index suite globally. You will play a key role in developing new and supporting existing multi‑asset indices for all client types. You will also help shape and execute the multi‑asset business strategy working with the sales organization. This is a highly technical position that requires effective collaboration skills and a commercial‑focused mindset to achieve the team’s strategic priorities.

What’s In It For You You will experience exposure to multiple product types and asset classes within investment management. The role offers opportunities to collaborate across S&P DJI groups and with clients such as insurance carriers, structured product desks, asset managers, exchanges, and financial technology and data players.

Responsibilities

Help oversee the index launch process: plan the overall project, coordinate across internal teams, and manage timelines with internal and external stakeholders.

Support the suite of Multi‑Asset Indices and products via analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos).

Work closely with the Research and Design team on index design.

Assist in defining and executing the product development strategy, considering broad market trends and client needs.

Collaborate with product management team members and support global initiatives.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience working in the index industry, structuring desk at a bank, asset management, or related.

Self‑driven with strong motivation to research and innovate.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable working with large data sets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver high‑quality presentations to clients.

Ability to handle technical complexity and explain it to audiences of varied sophistication.

Knowledge of financial platforms such as FactSet, Morningstar, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. is desirable.

Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; effective influence and consensus building.

Compensation / Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
