The Role Are you ready to be a part of an extraordinary leasing team and revolutionize the apartment living experience? At AvalonBay Communities, we don't just manage properties; we pioneer exceptional living experiences. We are searching for a dedicated and highly organized Sr. Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living.
Key Responsibilities
Drive resident acquisition by conducting customized tours and recommending the right floorplan and neighborhood.
Provide personalized follow‑up and updates to prospective residents, including information on floorplans, new listings and local events.
Support and train new leasing associates, acting as a resource for onboarding and skill development.
Maintain accurate lease and prospect data using property management software.
Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and AvalonBay policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Minimum 1 year experience in a leasing or customer‑service role in real‑estate or property management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of fair housing laws.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
