Job Title Senior Project Manager

Job Summary The Senior Project Manager leads end‑to‑end planning, financial oversight, and execution of large‑scale, high‑impact, multi‑million‑dollar capital projects across Anchor Glass. The role oversees complex rebuilds and equipment modernization initiatives—such as furnace rebuilds, IS machine installations, and equipment upgrades—and ensures safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary interface between engineering, operations, supply chain, and external contractors, establishing governance processes, driving execution discipline, and proactively managing risk, vendor performance, and stakeholder alignment through the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain project management governance and controls.

Develop and own the master project plan.

Lead on‑site readiness and execution.

Facilitate project meetings and communication.

Identify, communicate, and address risks or constraints.

Drive work rate discipline and manage field‑level issues.

Serve as point of contact for coordination with senior leadership, commercial, supply chain, and operations teams.

Deliver training and change management strategies.

Standardize project tools and processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain management, mathematics or a related field.

10+ years of progressive project management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably the glass industry.

Track record of leading multi‑million‑dollar, highly complex, large‑scale capital projects.

Project Management Certification, Six Sigma, or Agile Certification required.

Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with ability to resolve conflicting objectives.

Continuous improvement mindset, detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.

Proficient in PC‑based applications (Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.).

Travel up to 50% of time.
