Assistant or Associate Professor in Research, Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center at the University of Kentucky. The Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center seeks faculty candidates at the tenure-eligible or tenured ranks with an extramurally funded research program or strong potential to secure extramural funding. The search targets basic and/or translational research related to diabetes and obesity, including complications such as cardiovascular disease, neurometabolic dysregulation, liver disease, inflammation and metabolic dysregulation in cancer. This recruiting initiative aligns with the campus-wide focus on health disparities and the Healthy Kentucky initiative. Conduct basic and/or translational research related to diabetes and obesity and contribute to related areas within the Center and the University. Qualifications
