Overview

Senior Electrical SCADA Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor. The position is primarily responsible for supporting the engineering team and serving as one of the site's electrical experts responsible for monitoring and coordination of Samsung power distribution monitoring systems. Role and Responsibilities

Monitor the power distribution system through eFMCS/SCADA and its capacity/utilization trends Perform alarm management and rationalization of alarms Perform critical signal trending and monitoring to proactively identify adverse conditions Ensure power monitoring system uptime and performance Manage proper operation and incident response/recovery Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity and performance Develop detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in related Engineering field (Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred) 3+ years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution 5+ years of relevant experience with SCADA, PLCs, and Network Systems Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear and its protections Experience in commissioning and testing HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment (including creation of commissioning procedures) The current base salary range for this role is between $81,490 and $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors including organizational and individual performance.
