Overview The Specialty/Invasive Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Specialty/Invasive PA will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families. Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. 1 year either caring for transplant patients or critical care experience as an APP is required.

Education/Experience Required Master\'s degree in nursing OR Bachelor\'s Degree or Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.

Previous Critical Care and OR experience preferred

Previous Transplant experience preferred

Certifications/Licensures Required Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Current State license as a Registered Nurse. OR Requires Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Current BLS. Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.
