Estimator
to join their preconstruction team. The firm is known for delivering complex, design-driven projects — including medical, hotel, and mixed-use developments — with budgets averaging around $50M. Role Overview
The
Estimator
will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for large-scale commercial projects from conceptual design through final bid. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives on collaboration, precision, and clear communication across design, operations, and client teams. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for large commercial projects Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope accuracy and identify cost impacts or gaps Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing to ensure coverage and competitiveness Develop and update project budgets during preconstruction and design development Participate in value-engineering and constructability reviews Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams to support handoff and project setup Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and monitor market pricing trends Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating (GC experience required) Strong background in
healthcare, hospitality, or other complex commercial builds Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel-based takeoffs) Understanding of all major building systems and CSI divisions Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Why Join
