Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital-first mindset. They assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals and needs. Responsibilities include proactive outreach and follow-up, asking questions to learn about clients’ financial needs and channel preferences; identifying solutions for new and existing clients; maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products; delivering a consistent, optimal client experience; collaborating with branch team members and partners; opening new consumer and business accounts; processing service requests; submitting credit applications; and educating clients on emerging digital products and services. The role leverages available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet NMLS requirements may result in a rescission of offer or termination of employment. Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Typically five or more years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training Preferred Skills/Experience

Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients Advanced knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures and support systems Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services Proven customer service and interpersonal skills Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset Demonstrated advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
