What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Operationalize and manage the AU WYFEI 2030 Scorecard and monitoring system across pilot Member States
Track program progress against established targets and produce quarterly progress reports
Design and facilitate evaluations and assessments, providing actionable recommendations
Conduct training sessions on monitoring and evaluation protocols for program staff and partners
Develop user‑friendly guides to support data management and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Development Studies, Social Policy, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation for multi‑country development programs
Proven ability to manage MEL systems and lead evaluations
Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and facilitation skills
Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other AU working languages is desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in youth and women's empowerment initiatives
Familiarity with AU, UN, or equivalent results‑based frameworks
Previous involvement in capacity‑building activities for organizations or stakeholders
Strong understanding of gender and age‑responsive evaluation methodologies
