Overview
The ideal candidate will need to have deep expertise in Salesforce platform development, architecture and integration. This role will be responsible for leading technical solutions, mentoring junior developers, and delivering Salesforce projects that support our business goals. This position is anticipated to be a minimum six-month engagement with the possibility of being extended for a longer term. Job Duties / Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organizations Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Design, develop, test and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC) and declarative tools. Architect scalable, secure and high-performance solutions, ensuring best practices for development and integration. Lead requirements analysis, technical design sessions, and solution architecture discussions with stakeholders. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware and data migration tools. Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce applications, workflows and processes. Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new features and best practices. Provide end-user training, support, and documentation. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and CRM utilization. Collaborate with business analysts, QA and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge)
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business or a related field or relevant work experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Lighting Components (Aura/LWC) and Salesforce configuration. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security and data models. Proven experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Salesforce DX). Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, data management, and security settings. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent experience) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years Experience, Certificates)
Salesforce Architect certifications (Application/System Architect) are a plus. Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for Salesforce. Experience on AWS services like Lambda, EKS, Fargate, Batch, Lightsail, WAF, Step Functions. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
