Role Overview As a Human Capital Management (HCM) Systems Administrative Manager in IT, you will oversee the management and administration of HR systems, workforce management, and payroll within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage implementation, maintenance, and administration of HCM systems such as UKG Pro HR and Payroll, UKG WFM timekeeping, and scheduling.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to HCM systems and payroll to ensure compliance.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of HR, workforce, and payroll data, including data quality, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
Prepare HR, workforce, and payroll reports (employee headcounts, labor utilization, wage and hour compliance, tax filings) and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate audit processes for HR, workforce, and payroll functions.
Provide analysis and insights to support decision‑making and identify process improvements.
Lead and manage projects such as system upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
Supervise staff responsible for HCM system administration, providing training and support.
Required Skills & Experience
In‑depth knowledge of UKG HCM software and associated systems.
Strong understanding of HR processes: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
Proficiency in HR data management, ensuring data integrity, security, privacy.
Knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance standards.
Experience with integration of HCM systems with ERP and other enterprise software.
Reporting and analytics skills; ability to generate metrics and support data‑driven decisions.
Change‑management experience for system implementations.
System administration: user access management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Project‑management capability in HCM upgrades and integrations.
Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Vendor relationship management (if applicable).
Training development to ensure effective system use.
Technical support expertise for end‑user issues.
Leadership to manage a team of HCM system operators.
Adaptability to evolving HR technology and industry best practices.
Strategic thinking to align HCM systems with business strategy.
Commitment to data privacy and security standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Continuous learning posture for emerging HCM trends.
Problem‑solving skills for complex HCM system challenges.
Preferred Qualifications 10+ years technology‑focused systems administration experience with UKG Human Capital Management Systems, specifically depth in UKG PRO suite applications.
