Job Summary We are seeking driven recent graduates to join our Talent Development Program (TDP). This 12‑month program provides hands‑on experience and comprehensive insight into our Cement division. As a Talent Development Professional, you’ll rotate through various roles within our Cement division, developing skills needed to thrive in your career at Cemex USA.
Responsibilities
Safety Excellence: Learn safety protocols and actively ensure safety standards are exceeded across all operations.
Rotational Learning: Participate in a structured rotational program covering Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality, Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production Process, and Data Management.
Project Engagement: Contribute to real projects in each rotation to build well‑rounded experience.
Skill Development: Develop both technical and transferable soft skills through hands‑on work, training, and mentorship; enhance leadership abilities as responsibilities grow.
Networking: Build contacts and resources across the company, connecting with peers, mentors, and leaders.
Innovation and Improvement: Bring fresh perspectives and encourage continuous improvement, contributing to our Cement operations.
Qualifications
Recent bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering, Mining/Materials Science Engineering or related field.
GPA of 2.5 or above; preference for 3.0 or higher.
Leadership qualities and proactive approach to learning and problem‑solving.
Analytical and presentation skills, strong communication.
Up to 2 years of relevant experience in heavy or manufacturing industry preferred (placements, co‑ops, internships, university projects).
Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed.
Working Conditions
Full‑time program with potential travel based on rotation requirements.
Mix of office work and fieldwork in varying environmental conditions.
