Overview CT Technologist I - Full-Time at Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas

Location: Raleigh area. Work schedule is Monday through Friday with variable hours 7:00am–5:00pm. Responsibilities

Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and 3-dimensional images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Qualifications

Experience: Up to 2 years experience as a CT Technologist. Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program. License/Certification: Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current ARRT registration. CT advanced registration through ARRT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Non-IDTF centers require CT advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment. Must meet state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice. Skills/Abilities: Skill in operation of CT equipment and ancillary equipment; ability to work independently and multitask; ability to document accurately and concisely; understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology; knowledge of computer applications including information and billing systems, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
