Lead Financial Analyst

The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for driving strategic portfolio optimization across divisions, streamlining and owning acquisition activity, and leveraging customer data to deliver actionable insights. This includes assessing how macro economic factors affect the portfolio. This role will directly support the credit department lead in shaping strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex finance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Lead portfolio optimization initiatives tailored to each division, utilizing both internal and external customer and macroeconomic data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Directly or indirectly manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Conduct strategic financial analysis to support high-level decision-making.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast and analyze credit risk profile.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies and performance metrics.
Recommend and implement improvements to credit policies, procedures, and systems.
Ensure compliance with internal controls.
Partner with IT and operations to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.
Work closely with sales, finance, legal and operations to support business growth while managing credit risk.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in finance related field.
Strong data integration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strategic thinking.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
Additional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA).
