Security Professional - Access Control Specialist

Bay Minette, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, deter unauthorized access, and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Tue 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizing entry and/or exit for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, assisting with problem-solving and emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
