Job Summary The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Miah Laboratory to study non‑receptor protein tyrosine kinases (nRTKs) in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). This short‑term (3–5 months) project focuses on utilizing biochemical, molecular genetics, genomic, and proteomics approaches to identify druggable biomarkers and advance precision medicine therapies for TNBC. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator, progress toward an independent career, and contribute to manuscript preparation and grant writing.
Responsibilities
Perform molecular biology experiments involving DNA, RNA, and protein analyses.
Conduct cell culture, protein purification, Western blotting, and immunostaining procedures.
Carry out live‑cell imaging using advanced microscopy systems.
Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
Contribute to manuscript preparation and grant‑writing activities.
Maintain laboratory organization, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Qualifications
Ph.D. or M.D. equivalent in a bioscience field of study.
Protein purification, cell culture, proteomics, and general laboratory experience.
