Opportunity CACI is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the Department of Justice’s mission. This position focuses on litigation support and preparation for upcoming trials, providing case management and database assistance. The role offers exposure to high‑profile cases and includes training in Relativity and eDiscovery tools.
Responsibilities
Index, track, and control document discovery (including documents produced and received).
Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for attorneys for discovery, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Summarize depositions and other transcripts; maintain case files and perform simple legal research.
Index and track exhibits and other material at depositions and at trial.
Prepare exhibit cross‑references.
Assist attorneys in courtroom.
Review documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines.
Compile documents for FOIA, production requests, Congressional inquiries, etc.
Qualifications
Four‑year college degree.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training.
At least two years of litigation paralegal experience related to business, finance, accounting, or related areas.
At least one year of experience in automated litigation support.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience managing, organizing, and analyzing digital files.
Technical proficiency in electronic discovery tools and eDiscovery procedures.
Ability to deliver high‑quality work under extreme pressure.
DoJ MBI must be obtainable (U.S. citizenship required).
