Overview Support Center - Irving The Sr Specialist - Marketing Promotions will be responsible for running the day-to-day execution of all offers/coupons and promotions for timed and weekly campaigns ensuring all marketing activities are aligned with company goals. This individual will provide integral program coordination between all Michaels marketing components to create seamless program presentation to the consumer. This Team Member will develop and sustain a collaborative relationship with Project Management, Creative Services, Brand, Lifecycle & Targeted Marketing, Digital, Social, Pricing, Merchandising and Store Operations teams to ensure timely program success with a customer-first mindset.

Major Activities

Serve as the subject matter expert for all offer and coupon requests in the promotions engine; set up chain offers including but not limited to receipt bounce back offers & serialized coupons.

Responsible for the execution of the weekly ad/IA on the platform including but not limited to versions, production schedules and category assignments for the ad. Serve as the main point of contact for the weekly ad and lead PLU and other pricing pilots/initiatives.

Partner on the technical integration of the weekly ad platform API into other marketing channels.

Responsible for the proofing of all promotional marketing assets including but not limited to OLV & paid social assets, weekly ad, PLUs, coupons, GWP, etc. to drive the strategy & messaging developed by the brand team.

Other duties as assigned Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Marketing, Business, or related field

Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills

Solid MS office skills

Minimum Type of experience the job requires

5+ years marketing experience

Other

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Must be data, detail-oriented and organized.

Ability to problem solve while taking the time to understand other points of view

Interpret analysis and make recommendations

Ability to work independently or with a team or partners

Ability to work under pressure with the willingness to meet deadlines
