Job Description The role is open to San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, or Detroit depending on the candidate’s current location. The work location is hybrid – performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs. We are looking for a Sales Leader to join our global LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team as a Manager within the Online Sales Organization’s New & Emerging Business team.

You will lead a team of Account Executives and Client Solutions Managers who consult with startups and other high‑potential companies who are new to our ad platform, helping them achieve their growth objectives by utilizing best‑in‑class products and services. Your goal is to grow Marketing Solutions sales revenue by building and growing the team, setting strategy and go‑to‑market plans, creating strong operational infrastructure, and coaching your team on value‑forward selling. You will partner closely with Go‑To‑Market Operations, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams.

Responsibilities

Inspire a team – act as a coach and help your individual contributors develop their skills and careers. Proactively identify growth opportunities for the team and business, influence internal stakeholders to drive innovation and performance excellence, and advocate for your team’s success.

Drive engagement – coach your team to establish trusted relationships with clients through consultative meetings, training, quarterly business reviews, and events.

Drive revenue and results – proactively identify growth opportunities, launch new ideas, and iterate to find the right recipe for success. You will be on a quarterly sales compensation plan.

Elevate customer experience – ensure we support our customers’ businesses with excellence, delivering exceptional value.

Invest in the team – foster growth, learning, and collaboration. Lead by example with compassion, transparency, and high‑quality decision‑making.

Excellent communication skills – active listening, written and verbal across all channels.

Partner closely with TA on hiring and recruiting for AEs and CSMs.

Act as an owner – impact outside core sales functions, provide leverage, and produce results that help us scale effectively.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of sales experience, specifically in digital media / online advertising.

2+ years of success selling to B2B startups and/or B2B tech customers.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of experience managing a team.

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Sales management experience in media and advertising.

Demonstrated achievement in developing talent and delivering strong revenue results.

Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on cross‑functional projects.

Additional Information LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $248,000 to $379,000 (On Target Earnings). Actual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
