Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist – CommonSpirit Health Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams; provide clear and concise medical information; foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records; document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans; ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging; perform procedures as needed; collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions; provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives; review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement; implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice; stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements; participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards; stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices; participate in ongoing medical education and training; contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. Job Requirements

Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist – Creighton University – CHI Health. The Department of Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health Heart Institute is recruiting an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist as we pursue growth to our program and expand our clinical enterprise, research, and educational activities in conjunction with our Department of Medicine and the Heart and Vascular Institute. Creighton University Medical Center’s Heart & Vascular Institute is a high-quality program and a designated center of excellence with strong affiliation in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The role includes involvement in LVAD program development and participation in a rich academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as conducting clinical research with CommonSpirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.
