Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana. Our winter employment months are November through April. This seasonal position involves being the face of Human Resources and serves as the first point of contact for Club employees, applicants and guests. The HR Coordinator provides assistance with onboarding, administrative support, file maintenance, the employee housing program, and project work as assigned.

Responsibilities

Maintain outstanding guest service in a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, product knowledge and other guest service components.

Guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism, and ensure all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.

Understand and apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, Members, and guests; contact the General Manager or Human Resources in emergencies.

Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster a positive working environment.

Address issues raised by current employees and new-hires

Organize and schedule orientations for new employees

Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions

Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files

Prepares bus and property/parking access passes

Overall responsibility of the Ski Pass Program

Assists or prepares correspondence; processes external and inter-office mail

Takes ownership of the club-wide employee communication system and keeps it current and timely

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with Club policies and standards of service

Meet departmental productivity, organization and consistency standards

Maintain a positive and respectful attitude

Treat Members, guests, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect

Maintain privacy of Members at all times

Maintain a clean and neat appearance

Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors

Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner

Coordinate seasonal activities (e.g., blood drives, Flu Shot Clinics in winter)

Order office supplies and maintain office cleanliness and organization

Maintain the RFID card system, create employee key cards, and order key cards

Maintain the driver’s license master list of drivers for all departments; ensure it is complete and ready for insurance purposes each July

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays; long hours may be required

Experience / Education Required Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

Experience / Education Preferred Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Hiring Process.

Certificates & Licenses Valid Driver’s License.

Computer Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Language Ability Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.

Math Ability Able to perform basic math calculations.

Reasoning Ability Ability to solve basic problems and know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

Work Environment The work environment is typically climate-controlled, but may require outdoor work in extreme weather based on business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

Physical Demands Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds; frequent talking and hearing; constant reading, data analysis and computer use. May sit for long periods and use hands and fingers to operate a computer.
