We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Safety Coordinator
to support our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs in a large manufacturing facility. This role partners with operations and leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and implement safety and environmental programs per
OSHA, NFPA, and EPA
standards.
Conduct
safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Deliver
employee safety training
and ensure PPE compliance.
Maintain environmental permits, waste management records, and regulatory reports.
Lead
emergency response and preparedness
initiatives.
Track safety performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field ( Bachelor’s preferred ).
3+ years of experience in
HSE roles
within manufacturing or industrial settings.
Knowledge of
OSHA, EPA, NFPA
regulations and auditing processes.
Strong communication and computer skills ( Microsoft Office ).
Preferred certifications:
OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, RCRA, First Aid/CPR/AED, CSP/ASP.
