The mission of the Secretary of State's office is to serve the public by meeting its legal responsibilities of collecting, securing, and communicating information that enhances commerce, ensures the integrity of Louisiana's elections, and preserves, presents, and makes accessible government information essential to Louisiana's operations and its recorded history. Job Duties

Routine patrols of assigned areas of the museum and enforcement of rules and regulations. Greet employees and guests. Remain vigilant to potential threats to persons and property. May serve as shift supervisor in the absence of the Police Sergeant. May work special assignments involving large crowd control. Monitor security systems and surveillance systems. Compiles daily activity logs. Position-Specific Details
