Responsibilities The Sales Manager is responsible for all Sales Department operations including hiring, training, & daily management of the team, annual budget planning, sales meetings, & working closely with other departments to ensure job margins, timely job submission, construction completion & collections.
Sales manager is responsible for all sales results and spends most of their time driving those sales results with their team in the field.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of roofing sales experience in the property claims space (insurance claims).
Minimum 5 years of leadership / management experience; strong leadership skills required.
Must be able to articulate personal leadership philosophy.
Consistent history & track record of success in our industry, with verifiable references.
Experience & comfort with mobile apps and computer technology (training provided).
Reliable vehicle.
Ability to perform various physical tasks including climbing ladders & working at roof heights, lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Job Duties
Hit daily, weekly, monthly and annual contract numbers and revenue goals.
Interview, train and hire all Service Representatives.
Provide strong leadership and daily management to the entire Sales Team.
Plan and execute all Sales Meetings.
Perform monthly quota and performance reviews for the Sales Team.
Propose and execute an annual budget & plan for the department.
Ideal Candidates
Will apply previous knowledge to fit into Legacy’s standards and company culture.
Understand that 60-70% of the Sales Manager position is field work with Sales Reps.
Reliable with strong work ethic, 50-70 hours/week minimum.
Excellent communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
Can multitask, prioritize and correct real‑time process issues.
Comfortable with public speaking, leading team trainings, and constructive criticism.
Pay & Benefits
Hours vary depending on job volume / time of year.
Base salary: $100,000 with commission/draw structure ($160,000 estimated earnings for first year). No commission cap.
