Purpose of Role Marex is seeking an ambitious and proactive Junior Trader for the TBA Desk. The role involves working autonomously and collaboratively with senior brokers to provide market color, manage orders, and conduct post‑trade analysis for TBA securities.
Responsibilities
Analyze financial data and market microstructure for patterns.
Contribute to TBA product trading capability to support client liquidity.
Assist senior traders in managing market risk for the TBA product.
Perform post‑trade analysis.
Work with senior traders to acquire in‑depth knowledge of financial markets, modeling and risk management.
Assist senior traders with order pricing and order management.
Proactively review trade flow and middle/back‑office processes to create efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges).
Adhere to Marex’s operational risk framework and internal policies.
Demonstrate integrity, conduct and company values at all times.
Report policy breaches, escalated risk events and provide risk management input as required.
The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time.

Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
Experience on a trading desk, particularly in the TBA market.
Salary Range Base salary: $65,000 to $90,000 per year plus discretionary bonus.
