Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will execute full life cycle technical and craft recruiting, including developing and assessing job specification criteria, identifying screening questions, determining interview approaches, screening candidates, collecting and consolidating feedback, completing interview evaluations, negotiating job offers, and assisting with other HR functions on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will stay current on market trends impacting project staffing and leverage diverse sourcing techniques to recruit top talent. Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables Advocate for our brand, culture, and values with prospective employees Partner with hiring teams to build candidate profiles, clarify required skills, draft compelling job descriptions, and map sourcing strategies Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, referrals, and databases; explore additional sourcing and networking strategies to attract active and passive talent Drive campus recruiting, attend career fairs, and develop a diverse pool of interns and entry-level candidates Understand company culture and identify competencies in candidates Guide the hiring process, participate in interviews, extend and negotiate offers Manage the internal interview process, including screening, qualifications confirmation, and salary discussions Provide a top candidate experience and maintain clear communication with candidates, teammates, and managers Accurately track and document candidates in appropriate systems; report on recruiting metrics regularly Provide reporting on sourcing and recruiting metrics; analyze data and trends Maintain open communications with leadership and HR on timelines Propose solutions to improve efficiency in the recruiting lifecycle; identify and address hiring challenges Collaborate with HR on performance management processes, including new hire evaluations and goal setting Conduct industry-specific compensation research and recommend appropriate plans Build relationships with passive candidates and referrals Stay informed about organizational structure, policies, and employment laws Performs other related assignments as necessary Qualifications
8+ years of direct full life cycle recruitment experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field Bilingual in English and Spanish Skilled at sourcing and building a network of candidates using online techniques, networking, referrals, etc.; experienced in screening, interviewing, negotiating, and presenting offers Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) Hands-on experience with various interview formats and stages Proficiency in behavioral-based interviewing techniques Results-driven with a client focus and commitment to continuous improvement Project and process management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines Good judgment and decision-making with the ability to influence at all levels Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related experience in full life cycle recruitment Proficiency with latest recruiting tech and tools Experience in both agency and corporate recruiting Advanced recruiter or sourcing designation and/or HR professional certification Recruiting experience in construction and/or government contracting space Experience recruiting in line with OFCCP and EEOC guidelines Job Details
