About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with at least five years of experience to support operations across North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Montana. The role will work closely with operational and executive leaders to influence day‑to‑day strategy and collaborate on company‑wide initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the full life cycle talent acquisition process to recruit and build best‑class talent within the organization.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Consult with operational management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance to operational management.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day‑to‑day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Conduct exit interviews, analyze turnover trends, and recommend retention strategies.
Participate in development and conduct new supervisor training.
Provide guidance and input on operational restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
5+ years of HR business partner experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Ability to travel 15‑20% monthly via company plane or fleet vehicles to Butler locations within North Dakota, Western South Dakota, Nebraska, and Eastern Montana.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, team member and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
Experience supporting a union hourly employee workgroup is preferred.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and experience with upgrades and component implementations.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) credential, or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
