Job Summary and Responsibilities The Center for Cardiovascular Health and the Franciscan Medical Group at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health are actively recruiting a 1.0 FTE cardiology advanced practice provider. This full‑time position is at Franciscan Heart and Vascular Associates in our Federal Way and Auburn Washington locations. The provider will work approximately 3 days in Federal Way and 1 day in Auburn, including both outpatient and inpatient care and supervising cardiac stress tests. Candidates should have at least 2 years of either cardiology or internal medicine/hospital experience. Be part of this well‑respected, VMFH cardiology team!

Center for Cardiovascular Health The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high‑volume program performing over 1,100 open heart surgeries, 2,400 PCIs and 2,000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and offer inpatient services across our healthcare system that includes over 1,500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.

Compensation Range Compensation Range:

$125,008 – $159,515 per year

Job Requirements Nurse Practitioner

2+ years advanced practice work experience preferred.

Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required.

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.

Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.

Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.

ACLS preferred.

BLS required.

Physician Assistant-C

2+ years advanced practice work experience.

This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.

ACLS preferred.

BLS required.
