Overview
Base pay range: $155,500.00/yr - $365,000.00/yr This role has been designed as “Onsite” with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
Lead discovery sessions to map customer needs, policies, and multi-cloud strategies to Morpheus Enterprise capabilities.
Deliver technical presentations, live demos, and architecture reviews that highlight automation, cost-saving, and self-service benefits.
Presales & Business Development
Partner with HPE sales, account executives, and product managers to position Morpheus Enterprise in winning deals.
Develop solution-level proposals, ROI/business-case models, and answer RFP/RFI questions.
Provide feedback from the field to product teams to shape roadmap and improve enablement content.
Work closely with the Morpheus sales specialist to qualify leads and ensure a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Technical Thought Leadership
Collaborate and provide feedback on best-practices, playbooks, and success-story collateral.
Contribute to internal “field readiness” forums and share lessons learned across the customer ecosystem.
Stay current on hybrid-cloud trends, competing platforms, and emerging automation tools.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with HPE presales, engineering, and professional services to ensure seamless solution hand-off.
Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance training, tooling, and partner programs.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, or hybrid-cloud automation, preferably in a technical-selling or enablement role.
Preferred hands-on experience with Morpheus Enterprise (or comparable orchestration platforms) and at least one major hypervisor (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V).
Strong background in designing/operating private, public, or hybrid cloud architectures.
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows OS, networking, storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SDS).
Experience with automation/scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
Familiarity with HPE’s hybrid-IT portfolio and the competitive landscape.
Preferred experience with products like VMware VRA, Nutanix, Cloud Bolt.
Candidate must reside within the greater Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, or South Carolina) and have the ability to travel to customer sites within the territory.

Technical-selling & presentation – ability to translate complex orchestration concepts into clear business value for end-customers.
Excellent communication skills: adept at tailoring messages to mixed technical and executive audiences.
Initiative-driven, startup mindset – comfortable working autonomously, experimenting, and adapting quickly.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Deep understanding of channel ecosystems and partner collaboration models.
Proven ability to multi-task and manage several sales initiatives or POCs.
