Position Responsibilities
Drive product quality improvements with ownership of the Cost of Quality to help eliminate waste and meet organizational goals.
Drive improvements to equipment, tools, technologies, and other factors impacting production capability and capacity.
Support ISO and other company standards such as the Quality Management System (QMS) and Business Operating System (BOS) via Leader Standard Work.
Provide training in problem‑solving methods, Design of Experiments (DoE), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Control Plans.
Lead Non‑Conformance Material Reviews; coordinate rework of materials while minimizing cost.
Evaluate field and internal failures with the Product Quality Team, aiding in root cause analysis.
Supervise tooling activities, including design, order, maintenance, gaging, and fulfill customer requirements relating to engineering or processing (e.g., FMEA, flow charting, and problem solving).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and quality management.
In-depth knowledge of APQP tools, process flows, process FMEAs, and control plans to meet quality and reliability requirements.
Experience with engineering systems such as CAD, PLM, and MES, including design reviews and validation/qualification support.
Experience with lean principles and techniques (Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction, Process Balancing, 5S, SMED, Kanban).
Where Is The Work This position is designated as On‑Site and is considered Safety Sensitive.
Compensation Base Pay Range: $82,000 – $130,000.
