Makes regularly scheduled sales calls to designated accounts and participates in community and customer events outside of regular business hours. Secures and expands distribution in the assigned account base. Inputs and transmits orders, completes surveys, POS orders and route goal management using eoStar. Keeps up to date on customer credit status and collects payment on outstanding invoices. Monitors customer inventory management and assists with product availability, placement, stock rotation, seasonal changes, promotions and sales trends. Introduces and sells new brands and packages. Conducts and tracks supplier surveys. Places and delivers hot‑shot orders to customer premises. Maintains intermediate knowledge of product portfolio and promotions. Participates actively in sales meetings and on‑site trainings. Interacts respectfully with team members, merchandisers, delivery drivers and suppliers. Develops and maintains positive relationships with on‑ and off‑premise accounts. Meets and exceeds monthly sales priorities and distribution objectives. Manages and executes day‑to‑day activities and priorities based on pre‑plans for route sales objectives. Tracks weekly progress to plans and goals. Reviews performance with manager and submits required pre‑plans and reports on time. Pre‑sells special items when directed. Relates and educates customers on products, brands, styles and industry trends. Communicates and maintains pricing and programming information. Monitors competitive pricing, identifies threats to company competitiveness and escalates to manager. Plans and conducts supplier work‑withs in defined customer accounts. Executes transactional programming. Off‑Premise Duties

Merchandises and stocks product at each account. Uses POS materials to build displays meeting supplier guidelines. Maintains inventory of current POS and coupons in vehicle and applies rebates. Reorganizes back‑stocks, refills boxes, shelves displays and dusts product as needed. Follows quality assurance standards and ensures correct product rotation. Provides retail customers with product directions. Supports category management resets and assists in training new merchandisers. On‑Premise Duties

Conducts customer staff trainings. Creates new and existing point of sale materials and signage. Follows quality assurance standards. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication. Goal oriented, focused, assertive and persuasive. Basic math skills for pricing and promotion calculations. Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office. Strong attention to detail and effective organization. Ability to persevere, adapt and manage a varied workload. Proven customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships. Knowledge of sales call steps (Profit) and product portfolio. Familiarity with supplier quality assurance standards and marketing guidelines. Awareness of regulatory requirements governing alcohol distribution. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. One year of prior sales experience required; industry experience (distribution, hospitality, etc.) preferred. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance. Ability to obtain and maintain a liquor salesperson’s permit. Minimum age 18. Live within or close proximity to the assigned territory preferred. Physical Demands

Lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds regularly; up to 160 pounds occasionally. Crouch, reach and grasp as required. Sit in a vehicle for extended periods. Operate industry tools including pallet jack, power tools, box cutter and customer‑specific equipment. Equal Employment Opportunity
